Yeah, sorry I've been quiet. I've started a new proper job, and with other members being away through leave and illness, I've been covering for the whole team (5 of us), which means 14 hour days, plus 2 and a half hours travel time, whcih doesn't leave an awful lot after that. I have been able to do a little post-post-production work on Anamnesis. I've made a one sheet, and today intend to finish the new trailer, and make a press kit including cast bios, synopses etc. Hopefully I'll get some fancy DVDs made in about a months time, and will of course be flogging my wears here when I do.

p.s. If anyone gives a shit the one sheet and new trailer should be up and running on our website in 48 hours time (Barring technical hitches).

    EDIT: Website now updated.

    Started uni.

At the moment, working at a filmmaking workshop at the Leeds Film Festival, helping kids make a horror film in 24 hours (spread over 4 days).

Re-writing my feature script (Rumble in the Bowels), with the intention of shooting it in the summer. Been location scouting.

Killer Sandwich 1 is due to be broadcast on Propeller at some point in the near future, and Troma has expressed an interest in distributing Angry and Moist in the US, so I'm sending them a screener shortly.

Pissing away my student loan on DVDs and movie scores. My next installment will be going towards my feature.

    Yet another Super16 short...

    Actually things have been crazy.

Between pre-pro on this shoot and having my cat have kittens things are nuts around here.

    Good Luck

Currently taking time out in wales, despite being desparately behind on composing for my showreel which i'll be submitting in May. I'll probably post the outcome online for you all to snigger at.

"Sexton Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Prophesies" is in preproduction hell, although I have sent out a casting call and now I have lots of pictures of pretty ladies to sift through.

I'm expecting delivery of a Sennheiser 416T very soon, to augment my existing location sound recording kit.

I'll be working for a few days on a short film in Brighton in August.

Don't forget to support me and my starving family by purchasing "Crooked Features"

Has everyone jumped over to shootingpeople.org or something?

And just where is Dale? tsk

My feature fell through, due to a lack of equipment. I could've borrowed a 3-chip camera from a guy I know, but he appears to have fallen off the face of the earth, and I really don't want to shoot a feature on mini-DV.

Therefore, Day of the Bread: Killer Sandwich III is on the horizon.

Angry and Moist was listed in a book about films based on H.P. Lovecraft stories, The Lurker in the Lobby: A Guide to Lovecraftian Cinema. Just a little one sentence blurb, but it's good to be noticed in print, in such a hefty and thorough tome.

Still pissing money away on DVDs and movie scores, but now with the addition of Oingo Boingo albums. Danny Elfman rocks.

I'm thinking of buying a Sony DCR-VX2100E early next year, if I can afford it. In the meantime, I'm gonna concentrate on writing.

    Keeping very busy.

'Lifeblood' is available for immediate download through EZTakes Movie Downloads, and will be included in the 'Brutal Bloodsuckers' DVD pack available 8/15/2006.

Between Floors is done, and we're going back and forth on a trailer. Still playing with the delicate balance between trying to communicate what a short story is about and not giving away too much.

Also, we're getting ready to start shooting a short ghost story called "Manifestation". I'm looking forward to shooting this one because I just bought a bunch of new equipment (new mics, kTec boompole, new lights, etc.) and I finished building a basic DIY dolly.

Finally, I started on some of the minor pre-production work for our next feature-length movie. Heavily inspired by the old Flash Gordon serials from the 1930's and 1940's, our next feature-length movie will be a comedy called "It Came From Uranus". In my spare time, I've been working on the miniatures and trying to achieve the same look and feel as the original serials. I think I'm getting close...
